Experience
Thesis student
Location: Fermilab, Chicago, United States
Date: 30/06/2024 – 25/09/2024
- For the HL-LHC, the CMS tracker will be upgraded. I worked with the CMS Outer Tracker group to finalize the analysis of a test beam and a paper on a PS module tested at Fermilab in 2023.
- This is also the main topic of my master’s thesis.
Tutor for the course: General Physics 1
University of Padua, Engineering Department
Location: Padua, Italy
Date: 02/2024 – 06/2024
- Conducted one 2-hour lesson per week for construction engineering students, focused on the General Physics 1 exam.
- Lessons included exercises (both basic and advanced) covering theoretical topics in classical mechanics taught by the professor in ordinary lessons.
Tutor for the course: General Physics 2
University of Padua, Physics and Astronomy Department
Location: Padua, Italy
Date: 10/2023 – 01/2024
- Conducted one 2-hour lesson per week for astronomy students, focused on the General Physics 2 exam.
- Lessons included exercises (both basic and advanced) covering theoretical topics in electromagnetism taught by the professor in ordinary lessons.
Intern
Location: Fermilab, Chicago, United States
Date: 29/07/2023 – 30/09/2023
- Contributed to the CMS experiment, working with the outer tracker collaboration.
- Conducted part of the data analysis for a test beam on new silicon sensors (strips and pixels) planned for installation during the high-luminosity phase at the LHC.
